Wakefield RCB is a space-age elastomeric liquid applied ceramic coating. Overlapping microscopic ceramic platelets give RCB unmatched insulation and thermal reflectivity in an easy to apply paint thin coating. The ceramic shield which can withstand temperatures up to 2100° F, has the ability to dissipate heat at a very rapid rate and reflect it back into the atmosphere rather than allow it to be conducted to the underlying surface.
RCB has been shown to reduce energy consumption by up to 52% and can be used on houses, office buildings, warehouses, cold storage buildings, roofs, boilers, headers, heat shields, HVAC ducts and many other applications.
RCB not only insulates, it is also rated as a class A #1 fire retardant, an approved asbestos encapsulant and a highly effective soundproofing.
RCB is an easy to use, non-toxic, water-based formula that can be applied to virtually any surface except rubber. It can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun.
RCB comes standard in white but can be tinted to almost any color. This makes RCB an option anywhere normal paint would be used and unlike paint, RCB is guaranteed for 15 years against chipping, peeling and flaking when applied according to manufacturer’s instructions.
